Ed Sanders collaborated with me on an interesting Time-Life project back in 1986. I would very much like to get in touch with him.

Hi Alan. I suggest getting in touch with the Religion department office -- details at http://web.duke.edu/religion/main/contactus.html, Nancy Hurtgen.

Thanks for your astonishingly prompt response. However, attempting to talk to anyone at Duke leads to a weird Google thing that just curls up and dies. And the grave and godly Mr Sander's home page seems to have long vanished. NB, I have nothing but respect for him. If you have an email, tell him that Alan Lothian, the mad bugger who lived in Italy, would like to talk to him. alan.lothian@mac.com. Thanks for your help.
