Welcome to the Religion Department Blog
This new blog is for news, events and views from the Department of Religion at Duke University. It is authored by the members the department. We hope to post regularly to this blog and we would welcome your comments about anything you would like to see here.
How about making articles available online? I've got a candidate in mind...
Richard B. Hays, "Can Narrative Criticism Recover the Unity of Scripture," Journal of Theological Interpretation 1 (2007), which was also delivered at SBL last year.
(It's hard to find new journals without subscribing!)
Hi J. B. Thanks for that, but I'm afraid Richard Hays is in the Divinity School and not the Dept of Religion so he won't be participating in this blog. Nevertheless, it might still be a useful question to put to him directly; if he were willing to have it posted online, I could upload it to my NT Gateway site. Best wishes, Mark

A very cool idea Mark, I'm sure it will be excellent.
This is quite exciting! I look forward to all the posts to come.
Any chance Dr. Marcus will be joining?
Hi Josh. No, Joel Marcus is in the Divinity School, whereas this is a Religion Department blog.
Oh, I thought he taught in the Religion Department as well.
